On Hiatus

I will be off the air for a while.

This weekend, my long-suffering wife and I will host an annual event that takes place at our weekend house in Central Pennsylvania and involves the launching of home-constructed model rockets.

Early next week my long-suffering wife and I will hop on an airplane to go to Ireland to visit our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. They have taken up residence in Dublin for job reasons; that means we will be visiting Ireland frequently in the next several years.

We will not be home until late on Election Day. My wife and I have already voted; let me urge everyone who reads this post and who is a US citizen to discharge their responsibility and get out to vote.

I do not care for whom you vote; I will not reveal for whom I voted; those things do not matter nearly as much as doing the right thing and getting to the polls on Election Day.

I hope to be back on the air early enough in the week of Nov 5 to do Mythical Picks for that upcoming weekend and a couple of rants too. We shall see…

Stay well, everyone.

Have a great trip Curmudge! Kiss the Blarney stone while you’re there. Hmmmm. But since you already have the gift of gab, that would be gilding the lily to say the least! ;-)

      Bones:

Hurricane Sandy prevented the trip to Ireland for now. We will go in late December…
