Ray Ratto used to write for the SF Chronicle and now writes for cbssportsline.com. He has a well-developed curmudgeonly core.

His column today regarding team ownership and what it means for a team to be “your team” is definitely worth reading in its entirety.

    Mr. Ratto is right-o. We have elected morons here in Las Vegas who still want to build arenas for NBA or NHL pipe dreams. I say, Feh!

    I think the NBA could do well in Las Vegas but I think the city would be crazy to spend a few hundred million dollars to build an arena.
