My long-suffering wife and I are about to begin a two-month period of traveling. Between now and Labor Day, we will be in 6 foreign countries and five US cities – - only one of the cities is within driving distance from our home.
The trip that begins on 6 July will take us to England, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The vast majority of that time will be spent in Africa on a photo-safari. Once we leave England, we have been told that we will have no Internet access and so I won’t even pretend to try to do any rants from “out in the field”. We get back on 30 July - – assuming of course that I do not have an unfortunate confrontation with a large carnivore. My best guess is that my next rant will be Monday 3 August.
Please come back then.
Stay well.

Speaking of large carnivores, I’m bearish on one Len Dykstra lately. The fake stock expert is filing for bankruptcy. Enjoy your African adventure, Curmudgeon.
