Off The Air For A Short Time
Starting later today, two friends from high school and I will set out on a “Baseball Odyssey”. One of my companions has dubbed our little group the “Boys of Summer” as we go and take in baseball games each year. This year, we will catch four games in three days. The home teams will be the Cleveland Indians, the Lake County Captains, the Columbus Clippers and the Toledo Mud Hens.
If you watched M*A*S*H when it was on TV, you may recall that Klinger had a thing for Hungarian hot dogs from a restaurant in Toledo called Tony Packos. It is a real place; we are going there for a pre-game libation and a Hungarian hot dog while we are in Toledo. How could we miss that?
After that odyssey, my wife and I need to attend a Memorial Service for one of her aunts on Long Island.
I’ll be back on the air in the middle of next week. Please come back then…
